Sorry about yesterday, fans. RL really kicked my ass. So to make up for it, here's some double yummy 28 year old Joe.

Floppy-hair in it's prime! And lightened ... not so much. He needs some scruff, years, and messy hair!

You know... as yummy as young Joe is, very yummy, I still prefer him as he is now. Of course, Joe in profile - young or old - is brain-melting hot.

[identity profile] tashirasbubble.livejournal.com 2009-10-14 04:01 pm (UTC)(link)
I have to agree - Young Joe is cute - but older Joe is SEXY!!!!

[identity profile] sgamadison.livejournal.com 2009-10-14 04:07 pm (UTC)(link)
I have to agree with everyone here--young Joe is hot, but he really has matured into smokin'.

:-)

[identity profile] teenygozer.livejournal.com 2009-10-14 04:25 pm (UTC)(link)
He's so... SMOOOOOTH! He looks younger than 28.

I love that his lips never changed. They are always lush & pillowy.

[identity profile] gaffsie.livejournal.com 2009-10-14 04:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Young Joe is cute and all, but he doesn't really do it for me. Too baby-faced, I guess.

It's just me being a weirdo. I've always gone for older guys. ;)

[identity profile] black-raven135.livejournal.com 2009-10-14 05:23 pm (UTC)(link)
I love this cut...............
longer on top but military regs on side and back
I knew many pilots who wore it like this.........
very nice
AND
it would have screamed on Sheppard.
>:-)
And I am not talking about age, but merely his cut.

[identity profile] gaffsie.livejournal.com 2009-10-14 05:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmm, I suppose the problem is that it's a very "dated" style? Something about that length just screams 90s to me, so although I could see a younger Sheppard wearing his hair like that, post-nineties Sheppard probably wouldn't (just like Joe wore it like that in the nineties, but not later on).

[identity profile] black-raven135.livejournal.com 2009-10-14 11:52 pm (UTC)(link)
No that is pretty much the way they all wore it....OK some now,
but many....and I
wore mine like it when I was flying, but a bit longer on sides and
back.........it was fairly easy to take care of once you removed
your flight gear...just a touch up here and there...and the hat I wore looked good with it also....
I guess it just makes me smile when I think of Sheppard like that
and seeing Joe in that audition he did in flight gear and his
hair like that made me want Sheppard like that too.....
***sighs***
I need to post my flight stuff on LJ......need to find a scanner
to do it though.

[identity profile] gaffsie.livejournal.com 2009-10-15 07:56 am (UTC)(link)
I didn't know you were a pilot. That's very cool.

and seeing Joe in that audition he did in flight gear and his
hair like that made me want Sheppard like that too.....

Like an actual audition, or are you talking about those cut-scenes he did for a videogame?

[identity profile] black-raven135.livejournal.com 2009-10-15 04:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Not a pilot, just fortunate enough to have been assigned to a major air station and later with a squadron......squadron scheduling officers contacted me whenever there were empty
seats and pilots who loved taking me wherever they were going
e.g. cross countries, bomb runs, refueling, aerial manuverers
etc........and a boss who thought it was cool that I was so
involved.
My job at the air station was military public relations
officer and at the squadron, administrative officer.
I had all my own flight gear, thanks to pilots who used their flight
logs to procure gear for me......
I kept my flight suit.....the rest I turned in or gave away, e.g. my two flight jackets....
Every once in awhile I stare at my flight suit and daydream......
>:-)
It was an incredible experience.
One that I will never forget.
BTW the icon is our squadron patch...we were The Black Ravens

[identity profile] gaffsie.livejournal.com 2009-10-15 05:09 pm (UTC)(link)
I can see why you'd never forget that experience. It sounds absolutely amazing.

Makes me wonder what he'd look like with a buzz cut.

[livejournal.com profile] crysothemis to the (http://crysothemis.livejournal.com/20280.html#cutid1) rescue (http://crysothemis.livejournal.com/19994.html#cutid1)!

[identity profile] ex-rogerpit.livejournal.com 2009-10-14 06:56 pm (UTC)(link)
For some reason I'm not seeing either of those photos. Are the links broken?

[identity profile] gaffsie.livejournal.com 2009-10-14 07:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmm, they are working for me. Weird. I wonder what the problem is.

[identity profile] ex-rogerpit.livejournal.com 2009-10-14 07:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh dear God...I managed to get them working in Opera, since Firefox wasn't cooperating. That is TWENTY DIFFERENT kinds of wrong.

[identity profile] gaffsie.livejournal.com 2009-10-14 07:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Hehe, maybe I should have prefaced my comment with a warning. :D

[identity profile] ex-rogerpit.livejournal.com 2009-10-14 07:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Now I have to go back to downloading Thoughtcrimes via YouTube to bleach this obscenity out of my brain... ;-)

[identity profile] black-raven135.livejournal.com 2009-10-15 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
***nods***
Looks more like a marine buzz than a Sheppard look
However, I would take him anyway I can get him
>:-)

[identity profile] xxsafixx.livejournal.com 2009-10-14 07:01 pm (UTC)(link)
that is just so wrong!now those pics are my new nightmares, lol

[identity profile] rubygirl29.livejournal.com 2009-10-14 08:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Wow, great manip. Now I could see him playing Vince Flynn's hero Mitch Rapp. So hot. Gah ... good thing it's the end of the day!

[identity profile] katiek1114.livejournal.com 2009-10-14 09:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Ok, as much as I adore Joe's current cut, (and I love your description of it being a middle finger to every CO! :-) I'm also a sucker for regulation. I almost fell out of my chair! Now if you could somehow do a Marine "jar lid", I think I would spontaneously combust on the spot!

[identity profile] black-raven135.livejournal.com 2009-10-15 12:54 am (UTC)(link)
IMO he would look good no matter
If he can look as good as he does in the cowlicked mess
they call a hairstyle, then I figure anything would look
good.
As a fellow bed head, I can fully understand why he just
let's it have its way.

[identity profile] xxsafixx.livejournal.com 2009-10-14 07:00 pm (UTC)(link)
lols, baby Joe:D As much as I prefer him now,he's effin' cute:)

[identity profile] valika56.livejournal.com 2009-10-14 07:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, baby Joe! How cute he is! But I also prefer forty-something Joe.:)

[identity profile] melagan.livejournal.com 2009-10-15 01:10 am (UTC)(link)
Excuse me young man but that's a very curvy lush mouth you have. All the better to... ;)

[identity profile] rellan.livejournal.com 2009-10-15 03:34 am (UTC)(link)
*serious voice over guy* They tried to contain his hair. It was the last mistake they'd ever make.

lol

Seriously, as nummy as Joe is, I do believe I prefer Older!Joe.

[identity profile] bluespirit-star.livejournal.com 2009-10-15 08:19 am (UTC)(link)
Mmmm, gorgeous at any year (though he does improve with age. *g*)
