EEEE! I wanted to see more of him in that. Pity the writer's strike ended up putting them on different schedules so he couldn't come back (and the strike ultimately killed off the show too--I really liked that show a lot :-)

I was jazzed about him being on the show. Not only playing a detective, but being a possible love interest was appealing. Stupid strike! And You're right, the show was doing decently, but that delay killed the ratings.

I'm presuming he is. Even if the ratings were bad, contracts have dates in them and I think there would have to be an officially released from his contract once the network declined to make COP into a show. For all we know, they have already, but if they wait until March and April like it was first announced, he could be trapped until then.

Being a back-door-pilot, I'm not sure if it follows the same rules as normal pilots. Hopefully those who make those choices have so already.
