I had never watched CSI Miami before nor have I seen it since, but I
did love Joe's Mike Sheridan........some of it reminded me of Sheppard
e.g. a bit defiant, smug, stubborn and give me some more time to think
about it.......

Yep. I couldn't shake the image of JFlan as a bad boy in a loud shirt, gambling away his future in the casinos of Miami...until an AU Rodney showed up and offered him a different role.

Funny to realize that I've invested so much of myself into a series of stories spawned from watching this one episode!! :-)

There was hint of it in SGA, but they never fully developed anything
other than in a few instances e.g. Conversion. One minute he
glibly tells Weir of his new 'friend' nodding over his shoulder to the marine who is following him; then the next minute he is throwing his fist through the glass. I realize he was on a powerful stimulant, but...the point I am making is his ability...........is definitely there for some powerful stuff.

I would too. I found some of the darker moments on SGA fascinating........
