I love black and white photography and what's not to love
about the subject of this photograph???

So what if it is stark??? perhaps that was the intent and why JF
agreed to do it
I still remember the flap on LJ when it was originally viewed.
My uncle, a semi professional photographer, encouraged me to take
black and white. He said sometimes it is the ONLY media that reflects
a sense of realism that is needed.
One winter I took some shots here in Oregon when we went to Crater Lake.
I still cannot believe how they reflect the beauty of that day. I am not sure that would have happened had I used color

I understand the photographer is either going to or has done an "About Face" for women, too? I'd like to him try to get all those starlets to allow themselves to be photographed w/o any makeup!
