I also still have the Stargate magazines from the time period when SGA was running. I also have a couple of TV Guides from when they did a couple of poses for the cover. And I have the Ancient font on my old computer so I can type in Ancient if I want to. I've never seen the service number though - that is so AWESOME!

I remember the TV Guides! I had one for a long time but I think I lost it in my move :( The one where they were on the cover with the BSG chick.

I can't remember where I got the service number, but it is handy in fics sometimes ;)

I only arrived in the fandom a couple of years ago, and when I heard there were magazines I immediately went in search of back issues. I ended up finding them and buying second hand, but they are in great condition.

I love flipping through them still.

very cool that you found them. I never was able to bring myself to get rid of mine, even when I moved and got rid of a ton of stuff, these survived. :) they make me smile when I see them and I do still flip through them occasionally.

IKR? Paper magazines! They go right along with those big heavy Dell laptops they had in the show! LOL Now they'd all have iPads or Surfaces, depending on who won the marketing bidding war. ;)

Still a laptop for me, though. I do so much typing that I need a 'proper' keyboard! I'm going to have trouble adjusting to Windows 8, I just know...

oh yeah at work for me too. Hell, I still have a tower PC at home LOL! But at least they're not the big brick heavy ones like they used to be! ;) They were modern tech then, and now, well, it would be iPads. :)

I wish I had that choice. I waited too long to look for a replacement laptop and now anything with Windows 7 on it is virtually impossible to find or way outside the budget!

But I'll eventually learn to love the new one, I'm sure. I'm going to put my SGA patch on it this weekend. :-)
