I added a few things to it as the original caps don't have much contrast to them. If you're familiar with Photoshop, there's a levels layer for contrast, another layer of brightness/contrast to help it, a green/pink gradient map to bring out the colors, and a vibrance layer to add richness. I also lassoed the Atlantis patch and sharpened it as it was a tad blurry.
I tinker with all of the caps I use in one way or another, just because they are a little flat, even if they're HD. I wish I had BluRay but I'm not sure that would improve them as HD was still in development when SGA was on the air. HD has improved considerably in the last few years.

I think especially the brightness/contrast adds a lot to the pictures, because often they are very dark.
