It was quite heartwarming to learn of Joe's dedication to Stargate Atlantis and the efforts he made to try to save it. Sci-Fi fans have won him over and I have a feeling he's not going to give up. Also, can hardly wait to find out what the new project will be!

As I told sgamadison, I really love that he started out not caring for Sci-Fi as a genre and has come to love it. Perhaps part of his efforts is trying to ensure he has a job and thus an income, but I like to think Joe does it out of love for the show and the fans.
