Hi all!! Here I am, moved and somewhat settled just outside of Salt Lake City. Very pretty here and already learning my way around. My job is good and in a wonderful building. I have a great work space with a nice view of the mountains. :D Nice apartment too, to get me started here. Won't live here forever, but it'll do for now. :)

Anyhow, thanks again to neevebrody for covering for me the last couple weekends as I lost Internet and was in the process of moving into the new place (and regaining Internet and my computer which was carefully packed. LOL)

So, I live in the high desert area now, so I thought, "hmm... Desert... Joe... hot..." and for some reason my thoughts settled on CSI. ;) Hm. Might have to post an nice collection of Vegas Shep tomorrow to continue this theme. Heh

Desert... not really but it felt that way. Dessert? Definitely! Ha!





















One week from today I get to see Joe again in Chicago! Should be fun! Of COURSE there will be pictures abound to share! :D

WOW....so nice after a busy Saturday! After Chicago I might be coming back and grabbing some to use in graphics.

I know! I did some sorting and stuff today so packing Wednesday night should be pretty easy... I hope! Have to work M-W. Heh.

Working M-W as well and on Wednesday will be doing the last minute packing like I always do and making sure the batteries to the camera are both fully charged.

I'm sitting in Row i either seat 3 or 4 depending on which one I sit in and which one my sister sits in. Hope to see you in Chicago!

A-17 and... there's one other seat. My con buddy and I have them, not next to each other but 17 is close to center IIRC... I think we have 17 and 23

Glad to hear you're settling in! I visited SLC several years ago, and found it to be a lovely city with friendly people. I hope you enjoy living there.

I"m liking it here so far. :) getting to know the area around where I live and branching out a bit as I get familiar and comfortable. Its a lovely city. lots more population than I'm used to, but I'll adapt. :)

Yep, going to be fun to see Joe again, its been a year since the last time (ChiCon '12) Still, the year has gone so fast for me! Geeze. ;)

I think Mike was the best guest role Joe ever did. He did a fantastic job with the character.

I vote for dessert... oh, my love/hate for Mike Sheridan... Joe was so powerful in this role yet it was so understated... he conveyed a complex character with his face and body language and in the process told us volumes about this man Sheridan.


So glad you're all settled and getting around! Have a great time in Chicago... I'm still hoping to have that experience some day. ;) Will look forward to your report (and photos, of course).

oh yes! Its the best guest role he ever did, IMHO. Really played to his non-verbal acting skills and he did SUCH a good job with it! Really gave me a new perspective on abusive men and the women that just wouldn't leave them.
