Sometimes you think you don't miss them all that bad. You get busy, things to do, people to see, life goes on, yada-yada... Then you see something or watch an episode, your heart clenches a little, and you know it's foolish to think you ever won't miss them.

(many thanks to the ever-wonderful

Today's a rough day isn't it?
Rest assured you're not the only one with this burden *hugs* and it only makes the loss more potent when you've just spent the weekend with them.

If David Hewlett didn't still refer to himself as McKay every once in a while on Twitter I would really be in withdrawal. lol

I came pretty late to the SGA party - don't have cable, and didn't get hooked on the show until after it was already off the air. It's something I'll still be re-watching 20 years from now. I can only imagine how much those of you who were there from the beginning must miss it.

Because they are so like Joe! I am reminded of his tweet a while back:
"Alone with my 3 boys this week. Deciding whether to ride motorcycles, clean out shotguns, have a knife throwing contest, or do homework."
I can just see one of these looks accompanying the "explanation." ;D
For myself, I started watching Atlantis live with the beginning of S3. I bought the DVDs for S1 and S2 and plowed right through. Reruns were showing before the DVDs arrived and the first actual episode I ever saw was "Condemned." I was hooked pretty much on the spot.

I started watching when my husband was cycling through episodes of SG1 and SGA on Netflix a couple of summers ago. The first time I remember paying attention from the next room was during the defibrillator action in '38 Minutes.' Talk about being hooked on the spot! ;) It's still the only TV show for which I've invested in Blu-Ray.

Love the gifs!!! I super miss all of the expressions Joe was constantly flashing. That man could say so much with his face. I might need to have an SGA marathon tonight.
