Sometimes you think you don't miss them all that bad. You get busy, things to do, people to see, life goes on, yada-yada... Then you see something or watch an episode, your heart clenches a little, and you know it's foolish to think you ever won't miss them.

I miss them every day. The adventures, their relationships...

Ohhh Hun,
Today's a rough day isn't it?
Rest assured you're not the only one with this burden *hugs* and it only makes the loss more potent when you've just spent the weekend with them.

Somehow, [profile] fu_dragon's gifs seem to bring that feeling home more clearly than others. A positive *gift* for catching that moment that makes you go THIS IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE MY SHOW.

Me too. It's like a dull ache that never goes away and every once in a while hurts like hell.

So well put and so true! :( Seeing these gifs, watching an episode or looking at photos is a bittersweet experience: it is great to see them but sad to know that there will be no more new episodes.

Yes! Miss them muchly.

If David Hewlett didn't still refer to himself as McKay every once in a while on Twitter I would really be in withdrawal. lol

So true. I also mss that show, so badly. I wish I would have enough free time to rewatch SGA!

I miss them too ;_;

And I love [livejournal.com profile] fu_dragon's gifs, and the way they bring the characters back to life for me, even if that means I'll feel a bit sad occasionally. *sigh* But more often than not, I smile :)

Perfectly said. I still get a little sad on Friday nights. That was my time to snuggle up and often not only watch the new ep (sometimes twice or more through) but also to pop in old eps. Thanks for daily Flan to keep the pics and the love flowing!!!!!!!!!!

Why do I have the feeling that those top two faces weren't really 'acting' so much, and that his wife has probably seen them a LOT? :)

I came pretty late to the SGA party - don't have cable, and didn't get hooked on the show until after it was already off the air. It's something I'll still be re-watching 20 years from now. I can only imagine how much those of you who were there from the beginning must miss it.

*snort* Awesome. Joe and my husband could easily have been separated at birth - in many ways. For one, they're both professional third graders.

I started watching when my husband was cycling through episodes of SG1 and SGA on Netflix a couple of summers ago. The first time I remember paying attention from the next room was during the defibrillator action in '38 Minutes.' Talk about being hooked on the spot! ;) It's still the only TV show for which I've invested in Blu-Ray.

It really does my heart good to see I'm not the only one who feels that way. So many have moved on without a backward glance that sometimes I feel like I'm the only one stuck in the past, unable to leave my favorite team behind. It's weird the way little things remind me of the show and then missing them comes back full force.

Love the gifs!!! I super miss all of the expressions Joe was constantly flashing. That man could say so much with his face. I might need to have an SGA marathon tonight.
