But there's nothing "bad" about this drawing. Simply amazing!! I dare you not to watch it over and over.

Thanks to @flanigandaily for the heads up!

That is absolutely amazing. I wonder how long it actually took, though!

That's just amazing. I have to admit, at first, I wasn't sure the artist was going to 'get it right'--there were things that looked wrong until the finishing touches were added. :-) I am highly amused, however, at how much time was spent on Teh Hair. :-)

What talent! I am so envious. My dad did a lot of pencil drawings after he retired. I have some paintings he did of me riding in competition, but my favorite piece of art is one he did of Albert Einstein in pencil. Truly amazing. :-)

and yeah, what [livejournal.com profile] sgamadison said about THE HAIR. :D I think it was at least a 1/3 of total drawing time. heh.

Really cool and talented - and I'm glad the big signature isn't stamped all over him like in some of the other drawings (in my head thr artist couldn't bear to mess John's face up like that!)

OMG! This artist has talent in spades! He has captured the soul of John Sheppard. Sniff... I still really miss SGA. Movie, Movie, Movie!!!

I love it when I see artists adlib their tools. I've never seen someone use a smudge "cloth". Usually, tortillions are used, but I can see why she would use that cloth/paper. You can smudge so much more and using a tortillion would take so much time on such a large space!

Joe is usually my first victim when I draw...

That is SO COOL. I'm completely envious as well. I've often wished I could draw and paint but alas, without a computer, I can't even draw a good stick person. LOL

Thanks for sharing! Wish Joe could see it, I think he'd think its really cool!
