Eek! So sorry I'm late! Got busy this Saturday and totally forgot. :(

It kind of scares me how good he was in this role. For the first time in my life, I actually could see how a woman would stay with a guy that beat her. The way he acted towards her, especially at the end, and the just... *guh* about him, even as such a bad guy, just hit me. Holy cow, I could totally see how she stayed with him, and that's a bit scary. Joe absolutely *nailed* the role and the character.

I didn't become familiar with Joe and SGA until last year. When I looked him up on IMDB and saw that he'd done an episode of CSI:Miami, I instantly remembered *exactly* which episode he'd been in, even though it'd been five or six years since I'd seen it. In fact, looking back, his was the only episode of CSI:Miami I could remember with any clarity.

He was just that damn good.

I'd heard that about him before, from other shows where he did guest spots before he was a lead. It seemed the general impression about his guest roles was that they were really memorable. He always left his mark, and had a great screen presence.

He had a subtle but really strong presence in this episode. Loved it.

Absolutely memorable! I saw all of Season 1 of Warehouse 13 before SGA, and his guest role on that was attention-grabbing, to say the least, even without knowing who he was.

And I never really watched Providence, but the one time I caught an episode, by chance, happened to be his role there, too. I remember being underwhelmed by the series, but really liking the doctor behind the big desk in spite of his being kind of a jerk to what's-her-name.

I never really got into his Providence role much, but I think it was the show itself not him per se. I loved him in WH13 though! And some of his other roles were great too.
