Thank you! I'm having lots of fun with it. The quote is from SGA - Tao of Rodney, when Elizabeth *asks* John to be the one to help Rodney *release his burden*. It seemed to fit so perfectly.

Ooooh, some very interesting interpretations of 'monster' here!

I did think the whole imaginary vanishing monster from Epiphany was the real low point of that script, and the way they made John tackle it was kinda cheesy effects-wise, but we did get some great screen caps out of it! :)

I liked the "fear itself" concept, but agree some of the effects were cheesy. I didn't mind the visual as much as the audible depiction of the "monster."

The only time I recall him being "rattled" at all is his expression in "Spoils of War" when the Queen has John, Ronon and Rodney captive and chooses Rodney as the first to feed on.
