First of all, in light of the Connecticut tragedy I want to apologize for the insensitivity of yesterday's caption and subject matter. Even though I posted prior to hearing the news, my gut churns every time I think of it. I came close to deleting the entry, but I refuse to let the unspeakable and incomprehensible acts of another person take away the goodness that we enjoy in this community. I prefer to think of the families and survivors and pray with all my heart for healing.

Today... Joe's characters had no shortage of damsels or perceived damsels...

I came close to deleting my comment on yesterday's post, too, not yet having heard the news when I posted it. But I don't think it would help anything to react in that way - many of Joe's characters have been military/law enforcement, which is completely different than what happened yesterday.

On an unrelated topic, I'd never noticed before how much the actress from 'Ferocious Planet' looks like Teer from 'Epiphany.'

Well said Neeve. I too have struggled with the post yesterday and last night talking with family about what happened I felt ill thinking about it.

From half a world away we are thinking of not only the victims, but the survivors whose lives will never be the same again.


On a lighter note.....oh, to be one of those damsels....love The Tower, black T of course.

I understand your feelings about yesterday's post and yet, all but one comes under the category, To protect and Defend. and the other is sheer goofiness.
