Yes... I loved that very nonchalant, "almost blew myself up." This episode had a lot going for it, and very poignant in the end with John's understanding of Rodney and what he'd been through.

Big learning curve on the bad guys maybe and I think being looked at as the hero or looked "to" for leadership. Not that he didn't rise to any of it admirably...

I recently rewatched this one and you know the weird thing I noticed? He's not wearing socks. Now that I've noticed it, I can't unnotice it... and he's not wearing socks in "The Storm"/"The Eye" either. *sigh* I hate my brain sometimes.
