I always thought it was unfair to John that Rodney shot him in that ep and it was totally ignored - particularly given how much stick John got when he then shot Rodney in Phantoms.

And I love action! Elizabeth in this.

Poor John and his alien possession, though! Lots of lovely whump *g*

Well a lot of that was Rodney's blustering at him about it, and John isn't the blustering type. ;) But yeah, it was sort of shrugged off.

I love what they did with Weir's character as well, I"m sure Torri enjoyed doing something so different too.

When I think back over episodes where Joe was especially, ridiculously, off-the-charts hot - even by Joe standards - this one always makes the list.

yes! There were definitely some episodes like that! He always looked good but some were "WHOA!" This one and Critical Mass jump to mind. Also Echoes.... Underground. Yep there were a few where he was exceptionally hot!

There is so much to choose from here--and this is not one of the eps that leaps to the top of my mind when I am thinking about episodes that showcase John's range of expressions, but yeah, it does!

oh yeah. I actually quite enjoyed this episode, especially for Torri and Weir's character to get to do something so different, but Shep's character was fun too! The scene where Teyla was faced with killing him to save everyone else was particularly good.

and the hospital scrubs at the end need no further comment! *guh* ;)
