It's more than just a Whisper... Joe will be among an amazing slate of guests for Fan Expo Canada, August 23-26, 2012 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

Can't blame Joe; it looks like an amazing expo... comics, gaming, sci-fi - wonder if he'll take his kids? Certainly can't do any harm to increase his exposure in this arena and solidify contacts regarding "Uncharted." Would love to see Joe swing that.

With that line-up and all that cool stuff, I'd love to be going myself. Well, I can dream - I don't foresee circumstances allowing or any major planetary shifts that would put me at a convention in the foreseeable future. But then, who ever knows. So you're doing Chicago, too? \0/ Hope you have a blast!

I don't know all that much about 'Uncharted,' but the more I read about it and about Nathan Drake, the more tantalizing the idea of seeing Joe play that character becomes.

Anybody know who else might be in contention for the role, assuming they ever get the movie off the ground?

The news became official yesterday! I was planning to go anyway, because of Patrick Stewart and Amanda Tapping, but now that Joe is coming, I"M SO THERE! Those of you who are planning to go, I've gone to this one a couple of years ago, and it's HUGE! All the guests sit at tables along the back wall, so you can come up and get an autograph, but I'm not sure if they'll offer photo op with Joe. And I'm dying for one!!! In any case, I'll be glad to meet him.

Fan Expo is HUGE! Seriously massive con with tens of thousands of visitors. I would recommend getting tickets online to avoid the large lineups.

They do have photo ops and I am sure Joe would do that.

I am very much looking forward to seeing Joe in a more relaxed environment than the rushed feel of Creation cons. Maybe even get a little chat in with him at the autograph booth :)

Joe in Chicago and then Joe in Toronto a week later. *sigh*

I live only a couple of hours from Toronto and I'm already booked to work that weekend.... and there's no way I can get out of it.... school starts Aug 27 and we work close to 24x7 in the week before... work, go home, fall into bed, repeat....

I thought of you immediately and how you'd probably love that. It looks so cool and... Joe, and Gillian Anderson! and Stan Lee! I think I'd be seeing if I couldn't get someone to work in my place for a day... though I know exactly how that is.
