I have so many caps of that scene it's ridiculous. But not as ridiculous as the fact that it's one of about 2 shirtless scenes in the entire series. Seconding the collarbone guh from above!
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I seriously think this is the ONLY time we had any bare chested colonel..............Too bad just shoulders etc. Thanks for reminding me >;-)
Sadly SGA writers never found enough reasons for Sheppard to be shirtless or Joe is shy and said no!! Either way this and the 'Thirty-eight Minutes' episode are the only times we get a shirtless Sheppard...and this doesn't really fully count!!! Still...sexy as hell!!!!!! :-)
Notice that not only did we get just those two glimpses of Sheppard, there was pretty much zero shirtless Ronon.
Now, while Momoa is... impressive, to say the least... he doesn't do much for me personally. I prefer Joe 100 times over. Still, that just seems like a really poor use of available resources on the writers'/producers' parts, no?
And yet, they did plenty of shirtless (albeit injured) Zalenka in 'Tao of Rodney.' What?!? WHY?
shamelessly jealous fangirl here!!! I do wonder what Teyla (Rachel) was thinking in this scene too!!! The director had a golden op to make us fangiirls soooo happy and they decided to just tease us!!! I love the end shots on Thirtyeight minutes with John with shirt open and chest/torso exposed!!!!! yum!!!!
They used the lower half of Joe's chest in "Doppelganger" when they shocked him, so just showing the top half here made it full circle. Still ... *grits teeth and stares at screen*
