In celebration of Atlantis coming out on BluRay, I played around a bit with capping some images. I think this will probably be a winter project of mine once the snow starts flying; Capping in BluRay. Wow. I'm excited as most of the "HD" eps I have for several episodes in season 2, 3 and 5 aren't the best. Be nice to cap the full HD experience with BluRay! :D

Of course, I will share them with everyone interested! Here and on my LJ as well.

I grabbed some shots from season 5 episodes, just to play around a little bit and thought I'd share.

the lighting in Vegas is really good for capping. some eps lend themselves to good caps better than others and that's one of them. :D

One question though - In one of the review of the editions I saw this.


In addition to several extended episodes (none of which are identified on the cases, discs or menus), the 20-disc Stargate Atlantis box set boasts an obscene amount of supplemental content.

Have you come across any episode that were extended??? If so, which ones?

I haven't watched them yet. I think they probably mean Vegas (which the EE is on the season 5 DVDs) EaTG (also on the season 5 DVDs and the Fans Choice BluRay) and Rising (which really isn't "extended" but rather its original airing format, as opposed to the one seen on TV now, which cuts into a couple scenes.(Also on the DVDs and the Fans Choice BluRay)

all the supplemental content I've seen so far, is what was included on the original DVD box sets.

Without watching all the eps I can't be sure otherwise. :)
