We all know how great a non verbal actor JF is. I always believed Sheppard to be a man of deep emotions, just well covered. But sometimes, we saw them and Joe always did such a good job with that aspect of the character (among many others!)

Today... A Man of Deep Emotions...

He about breaks me when I see that softness edge around his eyes.

It's so subtle the way Joe plays it that it took me I think two viewings through the series to catch it.

Damn, he just breaks my heart in a lot of these! He really does convey a lot of emotion in a very subtle way.

:sends Rodney to make him better:

Oh very nice selection.
There are several which I really like though
e.g. 1st row, far left.....5th row far left...........8th row far right.

JF can say so much with those gorgeous eyes...the subtlety of his expressions say a thousand words.

In Remants, his eyes conveyed true fear in that scene with Kolya....gave me shivers....

My brain has gone soft - I can't remember where some of these came from. Oo I guess that's as good a reason as any to do a re-watch. :)

Love these - which episode is the second one from??

Since I can't place some of these pics, I think a reviewing of all the eps is in order. I'll use any excuse, but this is an especially good one.

I recognize a couple of these from Adrift, when Keller is telling Sheppard about Weir's injuries. Amazing how much he can convey without saying a single word.

Second row, middle shot is one of my favorites...where Rodney is trying to say good-bye and John adamantly refuses to hear it because he doesn't want to lose McKay. The Shrine will always be my favorite S5 episode, hands down.
