Unusual Caps - Season 1

So, I've been capping for a long time and when I HD cap, I often cap frame by frame in some scenes. This turns back not only the images we all know and love, but some unusual, not often seen ones as well. I have lots of these, as I have thousands of caps I've done over 5 seasons. I thought I'd post some of the less seen and more unusual caps, starting with season 1.

The criteria I use, is how often have I seen these particular shots, or posted them myself. The answer has to be not often or never. LOL Of course, that's just in my eye, but I think some are unusual.

Some episodes might be easily recognizable, some not. You might be surprised the episodes some come from, or you could be as scarily familiar (or is that obsessed) as I am and recognize the episode anyway. LOL

Can you tell what episodes they are? These are mined across season 1. ;)

yes, he sure is! My goal with the "unusual" set was for them to be mostly new. I keep stumbling onto them when I cruise through my collection for artwork. I'm into my caps all the time. Probably why I can recognize episodes so easily. LOL

I've been rewatching Season 1 lately, so I recognize a good number of these.

My favorite? Row 12, Shot 3 from The Defiant One, where Sheppard is letting Rodney fly the Jumper (and pointing out that he can't fly in a straight line).

What a wonderful idea w/ these unusual caps! Love the close-ups, but mainly those showing him in motion:)
Still, my fav would be the TDO close-up on row 14, in the middle: he looks like he's been through a lot... and not done yet...

oh yes! There is a similar shot to that one (in the same scene) that I post a lot, but I liked the moment captured in this one and his expression.

I plan on doing this for all five seasons at some point. :)

Okay, I'll play, let's see how much I *think* I recognize. *g*

1 - The Storm/The Eye - in my mind those two eps tend to melt into one large epic episode though I would guess it's from The Storm.

2 - Rising 2 - I assume that's the keeper-queen in the background.

5, 10, 14 - Letters from Pegasus - when he's in the jumper with Teyla?

6, 7, 45 - Letters from Pegasus - when he get out of the jumper to get a closer look at what's happening? First I thought they were from Rising - when the Athosian viallage was attacked by the Wraith.

9 - Home - shortly after arriving on the mist-planet?

12 - The Brotherhood - sitting in the archive and looking for clues to the whereabouts of the "Potentia"=ZPM.

13 - Hot Zone - is he looking down at the pod?

15 - The Siege - shortly before he gets stunned by Bob the Wraith?
16 - The Siege - shortly before "So long, Rodney".
17, 18 - The Brotherhood - in the cellar with the puzzle-trap?
19 - Letters from Pegasus - when he and Teyla talked to Teyla's friend?

21, 22 - Suspicion?
23 - Sanctuary - sitting with the monks shortly after having arrived in the village.
24 - The Siege - watching that Wraith-arm still moving?
25 - The Siege - on his way to the hive with the bomb in the trunk?
26, 27 - Suspicion - when they set the trap for Steve the Wraith?

31 - Suspicion - when Bates questions Teyla's loyalty (Elizabeth is in the room too)?

33- The Storm - last Scene "Kolyaaaaaa!!!!"

35 - Suspicion?

37, 40 - The Defiant One- inside the wrecked Wraith ship?
38 - Hot Zone?

41, 42 - The Defiant One - fighting the super-Wraith

Okay, that's it. For the rest I can't even start to guess. *G*
