I love the heck out of Whispers. It's creepy and it has John working with a team of tough ass girls. It always seems to me that Dusty and Teldy are like a mixture of John and Rodney. And I love John and Carson doing the little fist bump after they meet Teldy's team. lol

I loved Teldy's response to Sheppard: "Surprised that my team is a bunch of girls, sir? I was told to pick the best and brightest - funny how that worked out."

I have to agree with the others on the creepiness of this one and the kick ass Team!Teldy. John and Carson are both great in this.

However, I maintain that there is no way John could have not known they were an all-female team, what with being military commander and all.

It's possible John did know - but I think it would still have been a bit surprising, since the only SG teams we've seen (either in SG-1 or SGA) have been either mixed or all-male.

That always irritated me. The only realistic way it could be true is if Lorne was in charge of gate team rotations. As CO, John would only be responsible for reviewing the team captains, but that's still pushing thing as the military contingent is so small. As a base commander, base administration would be up all of John's time in addition to his leading off-world teams. I chalked it up to JM's poor writing and perhaps Major Teldy's team being a newly minted one.

I'll agree...creepy episode and I loved it....loved Teldy, Porter, and Mehra...loved Shep and Carson....

and yes....I would follow Sheppard into the dark.....

Just curious--why did you dislike this epi so much? I thought it was good--though I missed The other member's of John's team--it was nice to see another team in action, especially since it was all female for a change. This was a creepy epi, but I thought it was well done!

don't like PC anything and that is what it was..................not sure it was JM already slipping it to Joe and the rest or what, but did not care for it and would not watch it again.

I know this episode has its critics, but I didn't much care, as it had loads of Sheppard, had a different feel to it and featured that lovely turtleneck. I would really have liked to see more of Teldy's team.

The turtleneck makes me laugh - especially with the bunched up sleeves (and I'm sure Joe had them pushed down and was all bundled up between takes given how cold it was during the shoot).

I miss a lot of the details b/c I'm looking at/seeing only Shep. Listening for that voice. Will check next time for the turtleneck of awesomeness. At first I found this ep so scary I had to cover my eyes. Still find it pretty scary and not one of my faves 'No, don't go out into the mist, Carson. Don't go out.... don't go out....awww man.... When you can see their breath, it's got to be pretty cold, and probably rainy. Tough shoot. Not easy being a Lantean. : )
