Another of those roles where I think Joe acts a ton, giving a lot of depth to a smaller part. That last scene as Sheridan really packs a lot of characterization.
I think he relishes this kind of character, and that clone in SGA, because they are very complex. I still chuckle about the rowboat incident with McKay and the clown seated behind them. I asked my sister one day during coffee what she thinks of clowns and she feels as I do, they are not to be trusted........ She said "you wonder what they are hiding"
BTW one reason I'm kind of partial to this shot is because Joe and I have same eye color green/hazel eyes............ :D I took after my father and my sister took after mother's aqua eyes, a combo of green and blue............quite amazing.
Inside I always go all gooey when I read Mike Sheridan.....as it's my surname as well, I like to feel I share a tiny, miniscule part of Joe Flanigan's world because I have the same name as one of his characters....boy, do I need to get a life or what!!!
I think I'd feel totally the same way. A friend of mine has the surname Flanagan - spelled different, but every time I think of them, it's a little reminder of Joe.
When he calls "Julieee" into the night, it always gives me the shivers... I wouldn't want to be around when this guy's angry! And that makes that last scene even more scary
countess7 and I wanted to rehabilitate him by pairing him with amnesiac!master criminal!Fraser from Chicago's Most Wanted. We figured that all he'd need would be the love of a good man (and if he needs more incentive, Ray can always threaten to kick him in the head if he doesn't behave). ;)
I need to find this on Youtube...I've heard so many people talk about it, yet I've never had the chance to watch it myself. It's interesting to watch Joe play a 'bad guy' - and I dare say he does it well.

When he leans over and kisses Julie on the shoulder, that says a ton about that character. Is he sorry or just being a manipulative bastard?

He *might* be sorry, but he's definitely a manipulative bastard
