Sorry about your work, hon... but, you know, it's Joe!
They don't always get the recognition they deserve, but SGA had a top-notch production crew. They really knew how to light those sets to full advantage and Martin Wood was just a wizard at pulling off remarkable shots of Atlantis.
The lighting in Aurora did wonderful things with Joe's eyes - and I think it was the combination of the blue lighting and the light colored uniforms that gave it such a dreamy effect.
Oh--John in ANY light is good--but in Aurora he looked extra especially good!! I liked the lighter uniform on him too--he looks so tall and trim!! God--this man is just absolutely gorgeous!!!
I know! That's what I meant with yesterday's post, Joe has such an interesting face to me and not only because of the obvious reasons - I just love the entire 'landscape'! ;D
I second that!!! "My Pictures" is getting quite dull--and its mostly full of Joe/John pics!!I l love to go through them and see his different expressions--which are all marvelous!! I, too never get tired of looking at his face--or bod!! :)
Having had a tiny amount of exposure to filming, the lighting tech would have had to spend a bit of time to light Joe like that. And at the pace they film a tv show, that's really unusual. Or, maybe they did just love Joe. It's a great pic.
I wish I knew who to credit. I snagged it from a website years before I ever joined LJ and I have no idea where it came from now. These days when I DL something, I always make sure to credit it properly.
Now *your* icon here... *fans self and sighs dreamily*
I wish I could lay claim to it. I was new to collecting icons and only know the name the person gave it. FTH-TheFlan6. I adored it when I saw it and wish I knew who made it. I'd scream their name from the roof for the joy it gives me.
It really does melt you, doesn't it? Sooooo cute....

Absolutely! :)
And they experimented with so many various lights, Colours and intensity. Think about bluish Aurora, reddish The Last Man and greenish Infection...
He always looks great. *g*
Still, I've got lots of work that will not get done because I can't stop staring at this dreamy pic!
Thanks a lot! :)
