If it weren't for the lips in the Providence shot, I don't think I would have recognized him! Not with the industrial strength polymer in his hair! :-)
Yes! I was just commenting to starry_diadem the other day that I was looking at a bunch of stock photos and wondering why they were all of men in their twenties...
Give me a man with a little maturity on him any day!
Yep, those baby faces and buff bodies might be nice (and they do have their place) but with Joe... he has such an 'earthiness' and 'real man' appeal that's hard to resist. In fact, I wouldn't resist it (given the chance).
I dunno, I tend to drool after older Joe...he's one of those men who looks finer as he ages. Don't get me wrong, the blue shirt and peekage doesn't hurt, and I know there's TOES in this picture (wow. TOES) but the un-polymered hair and the greyish stubble just makes me wanna gurgle.
I'm pretty sure his nose does look different from different angles. I think it's because he broke it once, but don't quote me on that. If you look at this (http://pics.livejournal.com/kristen999/pic/0005kw8s) pic, taken from the same angle as the Providence one, the nose has the same kind of bend to it.
I agree with gaffsie, his nose does look different from certain angles - photographers and cameramen are masters at that - but do also think part of it is the way Joe has changed as he's aged.
Unfortunately, it happens to us all, though I wish my 'process' would yield results like Joe's - i.e. look even better. ;)

Was that the industrial polymers in the hair role? *g*

And yes, that was the role.

He looks good any way, but I really prefer the way he looks now.

Oh doctor, I'm in trouble!
For every time a certain man
Is featured on my screen,
A flush comes to my face
And my pulse begins to race!
Well, goodness gracious me.
