This was when Joe was walking the line to sign autographs at Chicago Con 2009. The guy in the Navy hat was a con volunteer and he really took his job of protecting Joe very seriously, shielding him from all the fans taking pictures. It was very cute.

Don't know about cute. That was my first Creation con and first time seeing Joe, Paul and the rest. As the last in line of the 'gold patrons', our autographs were rushed and as we tried to snap a few pictures on their way down the line signing, the con 'gestapo' were elbowing us away.

Yeah, it was not cool at all that the gold patrons were rushed in line. (That con was crazy) The con people were a bit overly aggressive, but while there were fans who were respectful and staying back to snap pics there were plenty that weren't. I think those handling Joe were inexperienced in how to keep fans at a safe distance, but without being rude to those who paid at the same time.

The last two Chicago Cons being rushed and jam packed are the reason why I'm not going this year, although with that fabulous line-up it's temping, but I'll sit back and read the reports.

I'm just going to randomly jump in here but for real all Creation Cons are run like that. I go to at least three a year for the last like 10 years and no matter how much time they set aside, everyone's always rushed through everything. I can't even count the number of times I've been told to move along even when the guest themselves are still in a conversation with me! (In one memorable occasion Jensen Ackles was telling me a story and the handler told me I had to leave and Jensen just goes, "yes she can do that when I'm done talking to her" and I was like <33333333333, haha).

But anyway, Creation has zero respect for fans, it's quiet evident in the way they deal with the people who pay a lot of money to attend their shows.

SPN cons are made of crazy. I don't even know why I go anymore, I swear.

I go to Dragon*Con, I really, really recommend it! Fantastic con, lots to do, lots of great people there and everything is just so much more relaxed and a nicer atmosphere for everyone!

long story. He and Paul flew in that day and were flying out. Too many people and they were running out of time at the end so he walked the line to sign to get to everyone.

Haha, yeah, here's the hand up in the face picture I got. I though it was sort of funny but I did feel bad one this one lady was like all up in his face wiht the cameras. This is why I have 20x zoom, I can stalk from a safe distance. ;)
