Kristen and I discussed having 6-10 pics of HD Sunday. I managed to trim this one down to 14. I hope I'm forgiven. :P

I doubt that Joe would have been able to fall asleep in that chair. I sat on it when I was on the set and it is VERY uncomfortable!!
Now, the puddle jumper pilot seat--very comfy!

I never got to sit in the Control Chair but did see it on set and got a pic. Very cool.

Now, the Jumper seats, oh yeah! Very comfortable. Cushioned, great lumbar support..... :D

I loved it when they first accessed Atlantis and as soon as he walks into an area it
comes alive.................as though it were waiting for him...............
That was part of what I loved about that episode.

oh definitely. I loved how they made the city somewhat of a sentient character of its own in the first season. It was a shame to see that dropped in later seasons.

It's interesting to watch his expression when he's in the chair...when Carson flew Atlantis he looked like he was in pain.

yeah, John's is one of concentration, but also much more relaxed. Of course, the first time Carson operated the chair, he nearly killed O'Neill and Sheppard so that might be part of it. I think he has to concentrate harder as well. Shep's a natural. ;)
