This episode just tugged at my heart. I was just devastated as he crawled away, badly wounded, from what was left of his car.......to die alone in the desert This was after he had called in the coordinates for the air strike that had saved Earth from the Wraith. So unconscionable. Later when they asked Joe about it in an interview, he just chuckled **raps him on his bed head**
When they called in the air strike they should have sent an evac chopper to pick Sheppard up. They had no idea if he was alive or dead, but he deserved that much respect.
OMG. His eyes. His face. This episode was so sad. I was so sad. But this was a great Sheppard's episode, I guess the greatest together with Common Grounds.
Guh! indeed. Wounded and broken Sheppard. This is one of my favourite episodes. And since Woolsey says: We should have John Sheppard's co-ordinates I'm going to say that they send a helicopter to pick him up. They're going to send a team there for clean up anyway, so I in my mind (and yes I wrote a fic) Vegas!John is now alive and well.
