Today shots of Sheppard and the Wraith. (Males, drones, queens...) I was surprised that there were so few solo shots of just Sheppard and a Wraith from season 1 so I combined seasons 1 and 2.

Defiant to the end... gotta love it. ;) The scene with him and the queen from Rising hooked me completely on the character and the stuff with him and Steve... awesome. :)

HD and BluRay Caps....

I know I've mentioned off and on the last couple weeks a complaint that I didn't see the images coming through full sized, though many of you said that they were. I put a lot of time into image enhancement (size and quality only, I don't change the tone, spirit or content of the image) and I want to be able to share those finished products with all of you! :)

I've done a little investigating, including a side by side comparison of versions uploaded and versions on my hard drive and yes, they were being resized by Photobucket. The size was still decent on the uploaded images, but was not the full size of the original source files on my computer.

Did more digging into my PB account and saw that somewhere along the way the "full sized image" setting was changed (without me knowing it) down to a 1024x770 size which, when applied to widescreen/HD images reduces the size doubly so, because they're in an HD dimension, not a regular resolution dimension like 1024. This means they were reduced considerably in size, to make sure that neither height nor width exceeded the value. Square peg, round hole sort of thing as McKay would say. I set that image size to full sized long ago, when I first started capping in HD so I find this to be really annoying!

The long and short? I've fixed it and will continue to monitor for spontaneous account changes. (really PB? Randomly changing account settings? I mean REALLY?! >:( ) Also, the last couple weeks, the HD caps have not been full sized, though they seem nice. I don't have the exact sets available to re-upload, I'd have to go hunt them all down again and change posts and... well, it would be a bit of a chore that I don't have time to do.

However, today's HD Pic Spam images are of the correct size, so you'll definitely see a difference I think. The following is an example. Most (but not all, depending on some caps) should come in close to this size. They should at least fill most browser windows (depending on your screen resolution) and a lot of times exceed browser window size (unless you have a really large widescreen monitor. ;) )

And knowing me and my various different spams, I'm sure while I try not to repeat images, some of the others will pop up again, and will be full sized to boot!

Oui... now I'm off to check all the BluRay posts on my LJ to see if those were screwed by PB. Grr...
