Good Day for It!

Any day is a good day for Joe in a uniform, right? He has said that the first scene he shot for this film had him pointing a gun at Robert Patrick and how that had given him a case of deja vu. I know it's a relatively small part for Joe (one press report describes Deputy Brady as a "cafe regular") but the anticipation for this one is high. It looks to be an awesome flick. Info is here at The Flan Info Journal.

I got to see GDFI at a film festival, and FWIW, it's not a huge part, but it's about as big as any of the other 2nd tier roles. (I do think some of his stuff ended up on the cutting room floor.) It's a good part for him and he did a great job!

I got to talk to Joe about it briefly, and we both agreed the movie could use some re-editing. But I really liked it and hope it does get released soon.

Do you perhaps know when we can expect to see it? Any time soon? Was it supposed to be shown at the cinemas or go onto DVDs?

From what I understand, AGFI had premieres in LA and New York at Indie film festivals to find a buyer. The film company was bought out a few months ago by a bit larger firm and stated they really wanted to sell teh film domestically. Not sure if that means a cable TV airing or direct to DVD.

The life of an Indie movie is not fun, but the estimated production coast was 2.5 million so that should make it profitable for whomever picks it up.

Thanks!

I guess we have to wait... I'm not good at waiting I'm afraid...not when it comes to Joe.
